Rape brings colour to the landscape! Since April and May are the rape blossom season, I went in search of some beautiful motifs for my aerial photographs.
On my last bike ride, I had already looked out for rape fields that offer good accessibility with the kite, and now that the wind is also favourable in terms of both direction and strength, I set off.
Here is a short selection of the numerous pictures taken by my Canon S110 using CHDK.


Since it was not far to the Dortmund-Ems Canal, I also let the kite fly here and can present the following beautiful shots.

This picture was taken by chance because I wanted to test my automatic rig without CHDK, but unfortunately I had forgotten the right settings again. So I just tried something and got lucky. It has to be done sometimes.
