For years I didn’t pay any attention to it on the way to my workplace, it was just a path with a few benches and a beautiful view. Only when I searched for aerial photographs on Google Maps did I see that the path on this small hill above the Emscher in Dorstfeld had more to offer.
Therefore I drove there in beautiful autumn weather to take some aerial photographs. The wind direction and the wind force were suitable, so a successful KAP session could take place.

Afterwards I drove to the TU Dortmund University for a few shots and took some more pictures at the same place as 6 years ago. While the Flare-kite was very calm in the air, I got into conversation with some walkers and could have very pleasant conversations about kites, but also about the current corona situation in Germany.

Further data: The kite was a 1.5 m Flare, as mentioned above. The Canon S110, controlled by CHDK, hung on a pendulum in my minimal wood rig.
