Welcome to Drachenland

Short Wing Cody made from cotton, 50 centimeter cell

Hi, I’m Peter

Welcome to my page about kites and aerial photography.
I would like to create a collection of information as comprehensive as possible about the above-mentioned areas and supplement it with my personal experiences. Because the necessary expertise is – literally – slowly dying out. That is also the purpose of these pages: They are not only intended to provide encouragement, but also to make it easier to get started in the “airy” hobby.
You will find photographs, blog posts, construction plans, technical articles, sources of supply and historical documents here.
You can find more information about me on this page.

My blog posts

All the little things that have happened over the years. Kite festival visits, new projects, aerial photography and other events related to my hobby.
All blog posts can be found on this page.
