A New Year

means new hope, new light, new thoughts and new paths to the goal. I wish all visitors a good start to the year 2025.

And yes, this page is finally back up and running.

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, I had to make some changes to my Flickr account. Since the Flickr team does not accept automatic renewal of the Pro account via payment through PayPal and I am not willing to make payments via a credit card as the sole option, I have changed my Pro account to the free account limited to 1000 images.

However, this meant that I had to either delete around 6000 pictures or move them elsewhere. Including all the KAP and kite pictures. But maybe it was exactly the reason I needed to tidy up a bit. Unfortunately, all the photos in all my Flickr groups and also on this page were no longer available. In the meantime, however, I have changed almost all the links to the new addresses.

In concrete terms, this now means: all KAP-relevant images are now available here KAP@peterlaudanski.de (Peter L. 2024) and all kite-related pictures here Kites@peterlaudanski.de (Peter L.2025)

In addition to this administrative task, I sometimes had to do something else to distract myself – for example, build a new kite.

I decided on a foil measuring 1.4 metres x 1.8 metres.

I often had to call on the expertise of a kite builder friend who is very familiar with this type of kite. In the end, after a few small changes, it flew satisfactorily. I am now waiting for better weather to continue the tests, especially with regard to KAP suitability. Reports will follow.
